The best thing about the show was the audience, don't misunderstand me the fashion was fab too, but when your dealing with FOUR hours, the clothes get a little blurry and if it hadn't been for the mix of designers, press and shoppers it would not stick in my memory bank.
Stick it has too, I can remember where I was standing, who was sitting where, and it was one of those incredible days where you end up meeting and putting faces to names. The best thing also is that those I met that day, I still hold very dear, and it was actually one of the first times I read someones profile and flipped out lol.
The profile was that of Arielle Ceres, the reason for the flipping was that she had in her profile something so familiar to me, and one of the reasons why I just had to be in second life-besides to Salsa.
You see Arielle had come from being a content creator for The Sims, and I was a huge Sims nut, especially for downloading from the amazing talent that had nothing to do with the creator of the game...her site is Sim Chic and I had downloaded many gowns from there in the past, so the idea that she was now in second life just made me squeel - and I think I did that in her IM box, LOUDLY.
Arielle has a broad mix of clothing at her store in world Chic Boutique, and there are too many gaps in between her designing here for my liking *makes cranky face*.
But what she does have you will love, and right now even more so, as Chic Boutique is having a FORMAL SALE!.
ALL her gowns are slashed to a crazy 250L, and you just have to have to go and grab them all.
Minerva the 3 tiered gown has always been one of my favourites, I always get compliments on this when I wear it. It really is just divine when you want to stand out from the crowd at a special event. I am wearing Gwen by TM Hair, and Bonita heels by Enkythings. The LiquidSkin is from Arcane, such a delightful tone to wear with this creamy golden gown.
This lingerie I had to point out is also on SALE at only 75L, and one of the things besides Lingerie that Chic Boutique creates so well is Lingerie, the pieces are always incredible and you will feel like a Princess in any of the choices you make. This is the Bronzed Jeweled Lingerie and the colour and finish is just superb, and oh my the panties are so little.The hair is Astrid by Analog Dog which as you may have worked out by now I LOVE LOVE LOVE.
I am not sure if all the lingerie is on sale or only a select few pieces on the right side of the entrance, but whatever is grab it while you can.
This last Gown, is the Sugar Gown. A latest Release and already on SALE so your really blessed. Sugary Pink yummyness, the full flexi skirt is divinely trimmed with silver, as is the incredible bodice of the gown, you will also love the incredible movement as you dance in this gown.
The hair is Cameron from Random , a beautiful sideswept longer style, that is elegant and can be worn casual as well.
I have so many Gorgeous Gowns from Chic Boutique and I have blogged them all in the past, but I really want you to just go out and grab them all for yourself, they are on SALE so dont delay.

Oh yes, I remember Sim Chic...I was and sort of still am a huge Sims player and definitely was all about the custom content ;)
Oh missed this comment sorry Phoenix, and yes mucho love for the sims and sims 2 I finally got up and running when I gound SL lol the one thing that was incredibly dissapointing coming to SL from playing a game like sims was Prim Limits lol I used to build the most stunning houses, make a family buy land and build yummies, would spend hours on them and never actualy play the family.
Yes if it wasnt for people like Arielle the game would have never reached its incredible status I think, everything in the game itself was ugly lol.
